Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to sleep during the day and glow when it wakes up at night.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Kama tsuki is a slow little dragon. His moonstone on his tail has not grown fully so he must take in twice as much moonlight as an adult dragon in order to keep his energy up. He enjoys laying on large rocks soaking up the moonlight with his adoptive father, Munu otcha.

His name means sickle moon. A sickle looks like a crescent.
