Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This hatchling suffered an accident. Being hit by a carriage, he fell into a coma and was hospitalised at St. Thomas Hospital. 24862 days later, the hatchling awoke from the coma, only to find the world had gone crazy. Aggressive Zombie Dragons wandered the streets of every village and hamlet in the United Cavedom, and the hatchling barely escaped death. Along with fellow survivors Selena, Frank, and Hannah, the hatchling tries to reach a safe zone in the north, where Zombies growl in a funny accent.
