Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A long time ago, when the earth was still young and dragons looked vastly different than they do today, there lived a beautiful dragon called Omix. Omix had silver scales that shone like the sun, and many male dragons all fought for her affections. But although Omix was beautiful on the outside, her heart was dark and she craved to be the most powerful dragon that ever lived. <br/>Omix knew of only one way she could gain that kind of power; by capturing the heart of the Dragon God TJ. <br/>One day TJ saw Omix as she was sunning herself, and he was captivated by her beauty. But when he looked into her heart, he saw that it was filled with darkness and greed, and he decided to punish her.<br/>"As your heart desires, so it is granted. All dragons shall flee before your wrath, and none can harm you." And so it was.<br/>Omix found her scales becoming dull, her beauty fading as she was turned into the mountain that is now known as Mt. Omix.
