Anagallis Dragons are a medium-sized omnivorous breed. Widespread and adaptable, their easygoing nature enables them to flourish under most conditions. They are social creatures, fun-loving and outgoing, and will readily defend smaller dragons from others’ aggression. They are fond of sunshine, and can often be found basking on rocks; on cloudy or stormy days they are more reluctant to venture out, and will often hide themselves away until the weather is more favorable.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

After a lifetime of dodging human hunters, who wanted to turn them into ingredients for healing potions, one would have expected Olfim and his mate to have settled as far away from humans as physically possible. Instead, he chose to settle in Dragontown. Any hunter would face the combined wrath of the residents—both human and dragon—and every magi at the Goldenmage Assembly. He's formed a close friendship with Heart of the City, another recent arrival, and the two of them frequently exchange stories about the latest strange things they've seen humans do.
