Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A series of thefts broke out across Nworset, and soon the police were pursuing the case of a gang known for their silence. Several members were caught, but each took advantage of the right to remain silent—indeed, they maintained complete silence in court. It seemed a testament to the gang leader, that no member was willing to say a word to defend themselves, for fear it might incriminate their colleagues. Crimes continued, and things started to look grim.

Then, Zzerinth found a lead. By psychoanalysing the captured criminals, he realised these mafia members never said a word even when they were not under oath. He and Cu Wyvern searched suspiciously silent strangers around town. One gesticulating goon named their leader, OJI0j. Soon, the whole organisation was captured thanks to an understanding of criminal mimes.

OJI0j may seem unassuming as he silently sweeps the streets of Nworset, but his task is community service which he must perform to pay for his previous life of crime.
