Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shelda was rescued once by White Kensei in a merciless winter some years ago, she lost all her memories and her body was covered by blood and wounds. Even her memories were gone, her body began to fear by the touching when White Kensei touched her. Weeks went, White Kensei still cared Shelda and she began slowly to trust Kensei. As the spring came, their love began to prosper and then the two were hopelessly in love with each other. White Kensei did everything to keep their love and left his herd for her. Shelda is a proud female and has a strong front protection, and she protects her family with the shield. Shelda is still bothered by the fear when she meets another dragons and she must have her mate by her side. Shelda's shield are not allowing anyone to pass her, but it is no some obstacle for Kensei to reach Shelda. His skin is cold, but his heart is as warm as her own and their love will endure in eternity. Their eternal love resulted that Shelda bore Kensei many children.
