Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bestowed at birth with a noble, if naive, spirit, Rebellion spent his hatch-days listening raptly to the ancient Yaska as the old water dragon shared the tales of human heroes their mistress had told the wizened creature long ago when he was small. The stories of men who defied odds set against them in the hopes of aiding others, of those who stole from greedy men to aid those who suffered, and of brave knights who saved souls who needed them most struck Rebellion immediately and soon came to fill his every thought and ideal. Almost as soon as flight took him, Rebellion was off, determined to be a hero like those he remembered from the tales that had so inspired him as a hatchling.
