Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s kind of shaky on its feet and enjoys playing in puddles.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
Crinose is not hairy at all. It's one of those "ironic" names, she supposes. She likes irony a lot. The tide being too low to swim in on a perfect day is ironic. Getting a basketful of dreaded sea stars when one is expecting sea urchins is ironic. Aurax being rising in the west when Cirion was predicted to is ironic. What a fun concept! Irony can mean so many things that Crinose has difficulty explaining to her friends what exactly it is, but she hopes they'll one day understand and apply the term.
