White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dulcet Sugar would be a rather average white dragon if it wasn't for her name. She was named in honor of her Sweetling father, not because she is in love with sweets. A point which seems to escape especially the Nocturne dragons in Laura-Lana's clan who depend on her healing spells for their health.

As a consequence Dulcet Sugar is always surrounded by a cloud of hatchlings, who can count on her receiving and then distributing some sugary treats sooner or later during the day.
