Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Few creatures love music as much as this dragon. The sweet strains of a good song are one of very few things that can lure her down from her home among the clouds, the dragon dipping down on graceful wings to hover over the source of the sound, often bobbing her head happily to the beat. Her appreciation for fine tunes goes beyond that of mere observer, however; she can often be heard roaring out her own melodies, voice echoing loud and clear through the crisp air. While her happy-go-lucky nature and habit of dropping gems into the laps of musicians has made her quite popular throughout her territory, she's not all merriment and mirth; any bard foolish enough to try to claim her songs as their own will find a most grumpy dragon on their heels, chasing them and zapping them with static lightning until they admit her as the rightful composer.
