Turpentine Dragons are named for the oil that covers their scales. This oil resembles turpentine in odor and is mildly toxic; it will not kill but it burns to the touch and will cause illness in anyone who ingests it. Turpentine Dragons roam in large packs, often stealing food from larger dragons, though they are able to hunt for themselves if necessary. Many other breeds consider Turpentine Dragons to be pests, so they primarily breed among themselves.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

At the western end of Cumberland Lake lays the notorious swamp that nearly all dragons in The Cave avoid, The Kemkulapa Bog. This elegant yet pungent dragon, The Kemkulapa Bog Guardian, keeps order between the dragons within the bubbling, disgusting bog. Due to her father being the judge of all dragons in EG's Cave, she was the perfect choice as the Guardian of the Bog. However, she is rather obnoxious, and many of the larger dragons that dwell in the bog find her to be quite annoying. Therefore, The Kemkulapa Bog Guardian tends to have the hardest time governing her territory than the other Guardians do.

This dragon spends her days bathing in the bog, and slathering her slender body in the dark bubbling goo. She then lays out on rocks and takes in the pungent odor of her home. Many of the Turpentine males visit to woo her, but she has had trouble finding the perfect mate. Some of the other dragons find her very finicky, vain, and stuck-up, but she believes she has every right to be.
