Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very dark in color, but its eyes glow brightly.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Elnubnub's one goal is to go to space one day and be a hero of galaxies. The big dragons talk down (figuratively and literally) to him, saying he's a foolish little nub and going to space will be impossible forever. He just snarls and hmfs. He'll act cool and courageous but not reckless, and he will outlive every individual who ever mocked his dreams, and he will see the day that magic and technology are advanced enough to take him to space. Maybe Elnubnub will even be involved in the research, so he can say he's responsible for the invention of space travel. Then he will show them all, but not really because they're all dead because he outlived them.
