Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Known to his brother Wolf and their friends as Verse, this Aegis keeps the law around the Breedery. Since Lurhstaap mostly stays out of day to day dragon affairs except where necessary, Verse is, for all intents and purposes, the local sheriff. He sleeps only as much as his body requires to be healthy, so he can be on the job as much as possible.

Too much time going out of his way to insulate other dragons—especially his brother—from everything he considers evil has permanently darkened his personality. He hasn't been seen in his normal form in countless years. He has become tolerant of the presence of 'evil' dragons so long as they behave themselves at home and don't target Breedery residents. At one point he would have included innocent outsiders, but there are so many other dragons, and only one of Verse. Over time, he's getting less effective, letting more things slide, and he knows it. He is getting bitter, and takes it out on those he catches 'being naughty'.
