Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its skin is smooth and doesn’t seem to have any color to it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Visible Eyes is a blind hatchling. Born without her sight, she can only scent other dragons and her hearing gets stronger every day. Even though she can't see you can tell how she's feeling by looking in her eyes. She doesn't know any self defense and expects the adult dragons to protect her. There is one good thing about her though. She can sense when predators are coming and just by looking into her eyes you can see whats going to happen.
