Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hrdayesa was given as a gift to his cave mistress by a good friend of hers. Because he was so special, he joined the ranks of the rare holiday dragons and hand raised, rather than being left in the cave of the clan's nursery.

When he became old enough to live with the other dragons he fought not to go and refused to budge from the bathtub he had been living in. As a result, the cave mistress was forced to rip the bathroom furniture out and haul the entire thing to her clan's territory, only to find Hrdayesa had managed to swim back to her island home the next morning.
