Gemshard Dragons are small, gregarious, expressive easterns, living in large clans high in the jungle canopy. Their bodies are covered in tiny, gem-like scales that shimmer in direct light, and each dragon has a unique pattern of markings on the forked spade of its tail. Though Gemshard Easterns cannot fly, they often leap from springy branches high into the sky on sunny days and perform acrobatic spins and twirls to entertain themselves. When the weather turns foul, they pile up together on sturdy tree limbs and interlock the forks of their tails with others to keep warm and dry.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Theodora Tatiana is the hostess of the jungle resort in her clan where she receives and entertains other people or dragons as guests. The jungle resort is a sanctuary for all the clan members that live in the jungle clan territory. It is a central point were they come together during either breeding season, for help or to relax. Theodora is there to make sure that the clan members have a good time. Theodora has a confident, charismatic and outgoing personality, with all the Gemshard dragons in the clan she puts on dancing shows and organizes festivals to keep the resort busy and attractive. Theodora runs the resort with all the Gemshard dragons in her clan, if they aren't socializing with their guests they are then making sure that the resort is overflowing with food or water. Despite the fact that Theodora is responsible, she just can't be serious. Having the bad habit to make everything funny in even dangerous situations. The jungle resort is most known for its intense parties.
