Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When Emilio was a hatchling, he contracted a mystery illness that none of the clan healers knew how to cure. The disease viciously assaulted his lungs and liver, eating away at him little by little, while the healers worked tirelessly to devise a cure to save the young dragon's life. Eventually a brilliant young white dragon, named Derek, was able to save Emilio and reverse most of the damage the disease had done to him, with time undoing the rest. Since then Emilio and Derek have been close friends.

Today Emilio is a rather shy and friendly young Floret, spending his days honing his skill with light magic and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. He has a soft, slightly high-pitched voice and a disarmingly adorable smile, a combination that is said to melt even the coldest of hearts. His clanmates often jokingly compare him to a kitten or other cute critter because of this.

Emilio likes warm sunny days, flying, nature, his caretaker Heather, and his favorite color is gold.
