Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Martaina was found as an abandoned hatchling, and was very jumpy and unhappy for the first few days. She warmed up to everyone soon enough, and even gave them presents from her pebble collection. Although Martaina looks fierce, she is quite quiet and thoughtful, and absolutely loves hatchlings. Martaina is not overly powerful when it comes to manipulating rock; her earthquakes hardly even register. But she is great with smaller details, like engraving and fine-shaping stone. Because of this she ended up building a beautiful intricate maze playground for the hatchlings outside the cave. She works on it every day, and her clanmates are starting to doubt she will ever consider her work finished.
