Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Preferring to be solitary, Tan always seemed to be out of his mind. He was one of the few of his kind who are exceedingly intelligent, but if anyone knew, he'd be shunned. He had nothing against being temporarily alone, but when it came time that he needed the assistance of others, and no one could provide any, he would most likely end up in a mess. So he'd rather have a trustworthy relationship, but nothing to the extent that other dragons could find out who he was inside.

In his free time, he'd always be looking up at the sky, or any other place that covered a vast area, such as the sea, and imagining all the possible things that those areas could hold. One day, he wishes to explore everything to its fullest, and hopefully share his knowledge with every other dragon too. One day...
