Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nius is a typical Magi in some regards: her appearance is unremarkable, her wit typical, and magic powerful, but not particularly so for her breed. Unique to Nius, she is the aggressor in trying to tie down Leonardo Deviate Vinci into a mating relationship. This is atypical gender role reversal for her kind. Persistant, Nius matches her attributes against the non-commital, easily distracted male. Willing to spend time with her on occasion, Nius refuses to mate until Leonardo truly puts himself into a steady partnership with her. A well balanced personality overall, her only hot topic, which is best never brought up around her, is the unwilling competition she is in with Leonardo's pet fish for his attention. Seriously, don't mention it to her, you really will not like what will happen to you if you do.
