It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Inara the Ambassador is a bit of a paradox. She is a universally respected Companion—scroll elite, you might say—who comes from a long line of Buddhist purples known for their grace and poise. She's also born of the meanest blood anyone's ever known. No one quite understands why Inara's mother, InaraSerra, left her temple to join a ragtag group of wandering adventurers. It further boggles the mind that she then accepted the scroll's gruffest, meanest buck for a week-long assignation that resulted in the birth of Inara the Ambassador.

Inara has grown up with Clan Serenity, but has still inherited the spiritual grace and wisdom that is her mother's birthright. She is training as a Companion under her InaraSerra, but mostly serves as the clan's ambassador, brokering peace and rights among the other clans in Ahavah.
