Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As her name implies, Leafscatter loves sweeping fallen leaves into broad piles with her tail before happily plunging into them, sending leaves everywhere. Unfortunately, however, it makes no difference to her whether those are leaves she's piled or those some poor farmer has diligently raked clean from his yard. As such, this habit of hers often gets her into trouble, and on more than one occasion she's had to run squeaking back into the woods to avoid an enraged human and his pitchfork.

However, there is one other thing that fascinates her: that strange glow in the forest, which seems to be shaped almost like another autumn dragon... She chases it nightly, but it always disappears, as if it's too shy to want to be found.

But when she called out for it to wait once, a voice answered her; a male's voice, playful.

He said he was Will-'o'-Wisp, and that if she caught him, maybe they could be friends, if she liked...
