Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It must be very shy since it keeps hiding from you.

It’s gotten slightly bigger! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

Tea Cup hatched out of an enormous Mint egg, smaller than his siblings, but wonderfully feisty.  He had a small yolk sac on his belly and also had a gash on the back of his head, with what appeared to be enough yolk or placenta for another baby hanging out of that gash. He also has a spot on his tail that looks like it was cut out and a wrong-sized piece of a different dragon inserted. When checked by the Healers, they realized he is twins that started to develop, but never separated, the second twin being partially reabsorbed into him. Twins, two dragons in one, not developed like a Split. He never grew normally, remaining very small, even for a gendered hatchling, but his spirit is immense, unusually friendly and outgoing, almost aggressive, if a Mint could ever be considered aggressive!
