Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nariana never picks fights. She is, however, very protective of the other members of her Cave. When a member of her 'family' is threatened, Nariana will leap to their defense, heedless of her own danger. Still, Nariana has never killed. She will drive away intruders and wound aggressors, but she will not actually hound her enemies until they die. She does have mercy and once the danger has passed, Nariana will go back to being the sweet dragon she typically is.
