Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Frilly Mummy is one of the last of her race, and she hates that. She has her little frilly family in the cave, and she clings to them all for dear life. This annoys them tremendously. Her sister, Frilly Aunty, keeps telling her that they are safe now that they are in the cave with the other dragons, but she can't quite believe it. She feels their clan within the cave is too small for safety, and she will do anything to make sure it never gets any smaller.

Frilly Girl and Frilly Boy, the two ever-young hatchlings she adopted, find her horribly over-protective, and avoid being around her whenever they can. Her feelings are very hurt by this as they should—she feels—understand that it is for their own good. They laugh at her and say all parents say that—then they run off and do something horribly dangerous just to annoy her. Life is depressing for Frilly Mummy.
