Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Little Dove-Angel (or Dove as she is called by most of her clan mates) is a playful and caring dragon. She is very friendly, and can easily make friends with even the most hotheaded dragons.

Dove received her name when her parents noticed her unique affinity for the doves that resided in the forest near their cave. They seemed to flock to her, drawn by her gentle demeanor; and she, in turn, was delighted by the small creatures' antics.

When her wings starting growing in, Dove became depressed knowing that soon she would be too big to safely play with her delicate feathered friends. Seeing this, Dove's parents asked FallenAngel (their caretaker of sorts) that she be frozen so that she could continue to play with her friends. Knowing how much Dove cared for the small birds, FallenAngel agreed.

Overjoyed at being able to safely frolic with her friends again, Dove soon regained her former good cheer. Now she spends her days happily playing with the birds she loves so much.
