Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It occasionally shoots small puffs of smoke from its nose, like it’s trying to breathe fire.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Always hiding its true feelings behind a mask, little is actually known about Masked Eternal Flame. The little Red hatchling likes to curiously explore the territory and never thinks of the danger of messing with other dragons or getting into tight spots. When in a sticky situation it can spin a story so convincing that it will leave a dragon puzzled for quite sometime. So many stories it has told that it is never known when it is actually being honest about itself. Purpletail froze the hatchling with her magic to preserve its small and cute form. Masked Eternal Flame has decided that it has no interest in the dragon keeper and wasn't pleased with her decision to halt its aging.
