Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

MrGrf is rather unusual for a duotone. Where all the other duos in Lagie's cave have a hard time remaining focused or making any kind of decision, MrGrf sees everything in black and white. Either this or that. Apples or oranges. Male or female. Well, he tries his best. When it's a choice between brownies or coffee, he usually goes for both, claiming to be unable to decide between them.
