Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Corparun (his name in ancient draconic means "of gem") truly believes that he is stone, not a dragon.  Corparun does not notice that while rock never moves at all, he will move occasionally.  He also ignores the fact that he has a definite shape, but true stone does not.  In fact, Corparun only has his mate, Mycater, because both believe that she is a plant.  And while, stone cannot mate with a dragon, it is perfectly logical (according to Corparun) for stone to be able to have a plant as a mate.

     Corparun (being a rock) thinks that he has no part in the war.  Unfortunately, if the winged dragons won, he would be greatly oppressed, and would never be able to see daylight.  Therefore, everyone just assumes that he is pro-mint.
