Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Not much is known about Isaiahs past, except the fact that his home was burnt down, due to the smell of smoke and ashes that were evident all over him. Though he gave no explanation, whenever asked of his past he merely quiets down and changes the subject, or replies with a quiet and meek, 'I don't know' then pretend something else had gotten his attention. Despite his mysterious and most likely dark past, Isaiah has a very calm and optimictic attitude. He always manages to find a reason to smile, and loves to enjoy the simple pleasures of basking in the sun out in nature. Along with this optimictic attitude, he also has a very protective attitude-which is normal to his species. He has a keen sense of danger, implying that he might always be on guard even while relaxing, and is like a switch. Switching from relaxing to serious whenever there is danger. He's a very reliable, yet mysterious Guardian dragon.
