Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In a twist of fate, Ciel the Flowing ended up the Ruda Clan's care not as an egg, but as a hatchling. Ciel used to be under the care of a human. However, the village her human lived in was fearful of Ciel, who never disrupted life or meant anyone harm. For months, she was blamed for everything that went wrong in the village, even though she was innocent and there was not a shred of evidence to support their claims that she caused earthquakes and droughts. When the villagers formed a mob to kill her, Ciel's human released her into the forest and faced the mob to give her time to escape. Days later, Ciel was far away from the village, where she was adopted by the Ruda Clan. Ciel never saw her human again and knows she never will. Today, she bears a strong hatred towards humans for what they did to her loving caregiver.
