It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon goes by Mikyo V, but no one is sure what the V stands for. He loves hunting, courting females of all sorts, and playing with hatchlings, though he seems to care little for their safety, much to the disdain of his many non-purple dragon mates. He never stays in the space place for long and travels in and out of the clan, often bearing gifts of rare meat on his return. His closest companion is his daughter, Eeseh, who he treats like an old friend due to her mature nature. He finds her very quirky with her obsession over all things hot and fiery and gives her gifts of embers. Her mother, Tizzybeetle, is a vampire hunter, whom he enjoys exchanging stories about the world with. It was she who gave him a want to travel from hearing from her adventures.

On his travels, Mikyo busies himself by hunting or muttering to the forces of nature about why they made his whiskers so long. His favorite meat happens to be venison.
