Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Purapura Drac, Purapura for short, is a cave found horse dragon, she is a very quick tempered dragon, letting her own anger get a hold at rather small items. She is the oldest of her owners dragons, and regards herself as the most important, clashing rather brilliantly with her owner's other more hot tempered dragons. A few times her quicker speed is the only reason she is still alive. Though quick to enrage, she can be a rather silly dragon particularly enjoying the way her name sounds when being hiss at small hatchlings or eggs. Purapura is particularly fond of a small Crimson Flare Pygmy that she grew up simultaneously with by the name of Palum Coluber, often in her excitement and hot temper, frightening the smaller dragon and causing her to flee.
