Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Netiri is a reserved, quiet Golden Wyvern, prefering to spend her days soaring over the Wisdom Territories and enjoying nature. She is not a Republicator, nor is she a Separator, and is not an Aperture Canyons participant either; she is merely a watcher, keeping an eye on all three factions. The reason for this--she once told a prophecy to the mother of Doom and Rivalry, a prophecy that caused the female to leave the little ones to survive on their own: two Green Dragons, one of nobility and one of hatred, will come together to fight. This sibling rivalry will ultimately spell the doom of them both and, if not stopped, may spell the end of both the Republicators and the Separators.

Netiri has no control over when she tells prophecies--in fact, that one burst out of her during a friendly chat about lemons. Ever since then, the female has minded her own business, keeping an eye on Doom and Rivalry just in case...
