Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tanzanitron GreenSparkle (after the gemstone: Tanzanite) was gifted into the clan cave as its 183rd member as a result of the growing kinship shared between The Clan Mother and a very special group of likeminded dragon caretakers. Already free of his shell, he entered the cave boldly and without fear, the moon reflecting off his scales in a million green sparkles. The first of his species within the clan cave to display such coloration and beauty, he instantly became the center of attention, drawing visitors from near and far. At first he was delighted by all the attention, but eventually the novelty wore off, and he began to dislike it. As a result, he enjoys the peaceful tranquility of the nighttime skies, soaring through the heavens with others of his kind, becoming one with the stars. He is proud of his heritage, and anxiously awaits a mate with whom he can continue his long and noble, pureblood line. Until that time, he seems mildly content to spend time with the clan younglings.
