Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

He was born in a clump of flowers, safely tied in the stems. His family flew off, not wanting to wait until he hatched. A human came across him and took the egg away into their own den.

They eventually disposed of him, throwing him in a cave with many other eggs that had been rejected. One day, someone had knocked the egg over, cracking it in two. He was startled and fled into the forest. After walking for a long time, he decided to burrow into the dirt.

Another human came across him, but because of all the incidents with humans before, he showed only aggression. They kept coming back, nurturing him back to health.

Many weeks later, he grew a bond with the human. He followed them home one day. The human had a large patch of rich soil and the dragon burrowed into the ground. He refused to leave the patch of soil, only stepping out when it was time to eat. The vines and flowers on his scales eventually grew into the dirt, announcing his new home this cave.
