Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

There are many rumors circling around about Kefira, most bad.  She has never done anything to disprove them and as such became the center for even more gossip.  In fact, Kefira has never said anything at all.  Her mate, Indianna, refused comment when asked if she had spoken a word to him.  Kefira stays off to herself most of the time, only passing through the cave to hunt.  When she walks by the other dragons will quiet down and move out of her way.  Other than that, she can often be found scratching drawings on the stone walls with charcoal with the hatchlings daring each other to get as close as they could to the aloof female.
