When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Niassa joined the caverns later on, her egg having been abandoned. As an egg, her strong parents did not have the time to raise her as they had their own important duties within their own cavern. Their Master took it upon themselves to cast out Niassa's egg by a river side far from the cavern. Her parents did not come along in the journey with their Master. However, not long after her egg was dropped by the river side, another Master of a cavern picked up her small egg and took it back to their own cavern.

When Niassa was born she was immediately let into the family. Cherished by all with her shy, but positive attitude, she swam in the ranks of the other types of water dragons and was finally accepted.

Not long after maturing, Niassa and the first dragon Malikian became life mates. They did not have any children for a long while, however, their love is greater than any other two mated dragons within the caverns.
