Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Despite being as black as outer space, it has a few bright patterns on it.
And look! It’s grown wings and its scales have gained beautiful patterns on it. It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don’t grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.
This hatchling was growing into a normal dragon when it got very sick. Feverish, it landed in a pasture and lost track of who and what he was. In his fever, he saw a black cow with white spots nearby and settled on its pattern the way most nebula dragons settle on a particular space phenomenon.
Now Momoo spends his time trying to romance the cow, describing to her how her spots are greater than the most intricate nebula above. The placid cow just chews her cud unconcernedly and lets him ramble on.
