Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blue Ryu Arashi was born slightly smaller than his Skywing brethren. His size has not been an issue though because he has turned it to his advantage. He has small, powerful wings that easily push him swiftly though the air. He is one of the fastest fliers in his clan of Skywings, proving time and again through racing and other sky games.<br/>He is somewhat shy, having been bullied as he was growing up. Despite his size he is a very fierce fighter, able to dodge swiftly and deliver blows with accuracy and speed. He can usually fly loops around anyone foolish enough to try to fight with him.<br/>His coloring is very awe inspiring, especially when it catches the light of the rising or setting sun. When the light is just right his scales will gleam like gemstones, casting light off them and onto anything around him.
