Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Calm and bright, Moonstow gets his elegance and collected mind from the moon itself. He is an elegant flier and dancer, but he does not know much combat and prefers not to use what little he does know. Although he's one of the most well liked and trusted dragons on the scroll, some find his blunt logic to be offensive. Often he will go out of his way to prove a dragon wrong with cold hard facts. This can cause some dragons to dislike him because of his determined nature, but Moonstow doesn't try to be difficult. He just wants people to get their facts straight.
