Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Icicles keep forming on its body, but it doesn’t seem to be bothered by the cold.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Mintofuresshu is a young Ice Dragon. She likes to nestle into the white snow of her arctic home to keep her body nice and cold. Because she is so young, her ice cold breath isn't deadly yet. When she tries to freeze prey, all she really does is give her prey a wash of cool. It is like the feeling of chewing on mint gum. She continues to try though, wanting to be able to freeze things like the others of her kind.

Her name means 'Minty Fresh'.
