Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Unfortunately for Leah Genesis, her life has been greatly affected by her being the most unattractive female in the Genesis Clan. She waited for nearly two-hundred years before her father was able to find a suitable mate for her. Even then, her husband, Jacob Genesis had to be tricked into taking her hand in marriage.

Despite her unattractiveness, Leah Genesis turned to the Storm God for comfort, and seeing her distress, he gifted her with fertility and many sons. He also punished her sister, Rachel Genesis, with infertility. This did not outweigh the favoritism between Rachel and Jacob, however, and Rachel eventually did bear a son.

Leah Genesis is a kindhearted, good-humored dragon and a dedicated mate to Jacob Genesis. She also is a dedicated mother to her many sons. Deep in her heart, Leah wishes for an equal amount of love and appreciation from Jacob Genesis and wishes to have a little more definition to her existence than just the "ugly Fog dragon".
