Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It spends its time pouncing on insects.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. It is also now covered in brightly colored stripes.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

Lympic is a humble little hatchling. Always gentle and easygoing, he is very easy to get along with. He is the kind of hatchling that causes no waves, nor even ripples in the lives of other dragons. Except for one dragon, named Punkgy. Punkgy is a little frozen Orchredrake, who is quite skilled at fighting. She once challenged Lympic to a fight. Not wanting to disappoint his friend, Lympic agreed, even though he knows he is not good at fighting with others. During the battle, Lympic was badly hurt, with gash on his forehead. With Melek's help, the wound was healed, but it left a long scar on Lympic's head. Lympic is not ashamed of it, but he feels somewhat guilty because he did not fight well and Punkgy accidentally hurt him. Punkgy doesn't speak to him much anymore, mostly because she is worried that she might accidentally hurt her little friend again. Whether or not Lympic can convince her that it was an accident and not her fault remains to be seen.
