Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Lukai is a very cute little Magi dragon who was frozen as a hatchling.  She is the daughter of Ona and Calcifer, though prefers to be around Calcifer when she can.  She is neither strong enough nor large enough to be a guard, though, so she can rarely go on one of Calcifer's patrols with him.  She dreams of doing so, though, but knows it probably will not happen.  Rianth, Calcifer's mate, is among her favorite dragons too, though, and when she can't be with Calcifer, she will happily be with Rianth.
