Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The eldest dragon in the Marble Cup Cavern, Ngula Tirea comes across as pretentious and aloof to those who do not know him. Most of the youngsters are scared of him, believing him to be judgemental and hard to please.  However he is in fact just very quiet, an observer more than a participator. Ngula has a well developed sense of fairness, and many of the adults go to him with their quarrels, knowing he will make an unbiased decision.

Those who come to know him well soon learn that he has a very kind heart, and a wacky sense of humor that doesn't seem to gel with the rest of his personality. He loves misty days, and so, with his control of the weather, often makes the morning start atmospherically, and lets the sun burn it off slowly through the day for maximum effect.
