White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As a very young adult, Nxako fell in love with an older hatchling, a male with glistening scales far brighter than those of any Silver dragon she'd seen before. She learned later that he was a Shimmerscale, and she dreamed of becoming his mate. As luck would have it, her feelings were reciprocated, and when the young male reached breeding age and earned his name, Zirconium, the two produced their first offspring. Nxako and Zirconium have produced many more eggs since: some silvery as the moon, some white as fresh snow. Nxako is an excellent mother and loves every one of them.
