Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Penkish Blue is unwaveringly convinced that she is fluorescent mauve. Given for her tendency to declare all manner of objects as being odd (often impossible) and certainly incorrect hues, the other dragons in the Clan of Skye suspect she is actually colourblind, but tries to hide it. Her almost-white nebulous patterns support this theory, and make her an especially adept hunter when the aurora fades, her blackness fading into the dark skies.

A wandering pyralsprite named Volcanine wrote this poem about Blue, and although she does not like it, the rest of the dragons agree it describes her perfectly:
A fallen piece of midnight sky,
This hueless dragon wanders nigh.
Before you get to ask her name
Penkish Blue will ask the same
She loves to talk to everyone
Human and dragon and even griffon.
If you can stand to be her friend,
She will love you till the end
As a dragon, that's the longest time
Though few will meet her in her northern clime.
