Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Bugaboo is a very caring and considerate dragon, and her favorite place to be is taking care of the baby dragons in the nursery. It is speculated that her personality is a result of her having to take care of her many younger siblings when she herself was very young. As Bugaboo's siblings got older and refused to receive help from her, Bugaboo became very sad and moped around because the one concrete thing in her life- taking care of others- was pretty much gone. As a hatchling she was too young to work in the dragon nursery just yet, so all of the woodland animals had to deal with a little striped dragon stuffing food down the throats of their children for a few years. When she finally matured and got her job it was heaven for her. She could have her own children and she could take care of other children! The dragons in the tribe are thrilled to have such a dedicated babysitter and caretaker, but they often wonder how she stays so patient.
