Ridgewing Dragons live just below the snow level on the upper slopes of mountains. They are a friendly, playful breed and enjoy dancing in wind currents near their homes or plummeting down into valleys from great heights. Their wings, by far their most striking feature, grow in fin-like ridges along their backs. While their bodies lack markings to blend better with their surroundings, a ridgewing’s wings have bright markings in the colors of the flowers that grow in their mountain habitat. Occasionally different-colored individuals can be found, but they are rare because their striking coloring offers little protection.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Queen of the Turbulus Pack, one of the packs that rule over the TriBiome, home of the dragons, she goes by Queen Nexous to the commoners.

Nexous is a passive queen that wants only the best for the dragons in the TriBiome. She takes her job as a queen seriously when there is a very large problem. She spends her time flying above the canyons in the TriBiome, but when it comes to her king, and Nexous  always does what he asks without question. She is very sweet to everyone and does not get mad often. Nexous will fight for what is right, even if it will result in her safety being harmed. The King is Machinor, she was picked by him to be his Queen. She breeds with whoever she wants.

Being a Queen in the TriBiome is a huge responsibility. When a Queen has stepped down without the King doing so first, the King will wither take the Beta Female as the Queen or choose a Queen from the commoners.
